Payment Failures

What to do when a taron payment fails — common causes, how to fix them, and when to contact support.

taron help Share

A failed payment at taron checkout is usually fixable in under a minute. Here are the most common causes and solutions.

Insufficient funds

Check your bank account or mobile money balance before retrying. If your balance is sufficient, the issue may be a card limit rather than available funds — contact your bank.

Card details entered incorrectly

Re-enter your card number, expiry date (MM/YY), and CVV carefully. Check that the billing address matches your card's registered address if prompted.

3D Secure not approved

Your bank sent an approval request to your banking app or via SMS. If you missed it, go back to checkout and try again — a new approval request will be sent. Some banks expire these quickly, so approve within the window shown.

Card blocked by your bank

Some banks block online payments to unfamiliar merchants by default. Call your bank or unblock international transactions in your banking app, then retry.

Still failing

Try a different payment method. If all methods fail, contact taron support at hello@taronapp.com with the event name, your account email, and a description of the error message shown.
