How taron keeps your payment information secure — encryption, PCI compliance, and what taron never stores.

taron processes payments through PCI-compliant payment providers and does not store your full card details on its own servers.

Payment processing security

When you enter card details at checkout, they are encrypted in transit and processed directly by taron's payment provider. taron does not see or store your full card number — only a tokenised reference used for refunds or repeat purchases.

What taron stores

taron stores the last four digits of your card (for display in your payment methods), the card type, and a secure token from the payment provider. Your CVV is never stored anywhere.

3D Secure

taron uses 3D Secure authentication for card payments. This adds a second layer of verification from your bank — typically an OTP to your phone or approval in your banking app. This prevents unauthorised use of your card.

If you see a taron charge you did not make, contact your bank to dispute the transaction, and contact taron support at hello@taronapp.com with the details. taron investigates all fraud reports.
