Before You Start
Know what the event is and who it is for before you open the flow. That answer makes every screen faster — format, category, ticket setup, all of it follows from a clear idea of the experience you are building.
Step 1: Choose Your Event Format
Pick the one that matches how people will actually attend:
- In-Person — a physical venue, face-to-face
- Online — joins from anywhere, no venue needed
- Hybrid — both in-person and online at once
- Audio — sound only, lighter to join
- Flash — short-notice, spontaneous
This choice shapes what taron asks for next, including your media limits later in the flow.
Step 2: Choose a Category
Pick the category that fits — Party and Fun, Business & Networking, Arts & Culture, Technology, Sports & Fitness, Family & Kids, and more. Categories help taron surface your event to the right people through search and recommendations, so choose the one attendees would actually look under.
Step 3: Fill in Event Details
This is the core of your event page:
- Event Title and Description — say what it is, plainly
- Duration — including a multi-day toggle if it runs across more than one day
- Date, Time Zone, Start and End Time
- Multiple Sessions, if your event has more than one — add each with its own name, date, time, and description
- Location — venue or online access, depending on your format
- Max Attendees
- Event Tags — up to 10, to help the right people find you
Step 4: Add Media
Upload images, videos, and audio — up to 4 of each, though the exact limit depends on the format you picked in Step 1. This is what attendees see before they read a word of your description, so make it count.
Step 5: Set Up Tickets
Decide if your event needs tickets. Free entry works if you just want people through the door — registration still gives them a ticket for check-in. If you charge, set up one or more ticket tiers: name, price, currency, total quantity, and a per-person limit if you want one. You can add more tiers for different price points or access levels.
Step 6: Set Up Support and Gifting
If you want attendees to be able to support you directly, separate from any ticket price, turn this on. Pick how the button reads — Support, Contribution, Buy Me a Coffee, Help Fund, or Sponsor — or write your own button text. Add a purpose if you want people to know what their support goes toward.
Step 7: Publish
Review everything on the summary screen — format, category, date, location, tags, media, tickets, Support and Gifting — exactly as attendees will see it. Choose whether to publish immediately, notify your followers, and enable social sharing, then publish.
After Publishing
Your event page is the source of truth. If anything changes — time, venue, access link — update it and let registered attendees know directly.
