Duplicating an Event

How to duplicate a taron event to reuse your setup for a recurring or similar event without starting from scratch.

taron help Share

If you run similar events regularly, duplicating an existing event saves time — your title, description, ticket structure, and cover image carry over.

How to duplicate an event

Go to the event you want to copy from your creator profile. Tap the three-dot menu and select Duplicate Event. A draft copy is created with all the original details. Update the date, time, and any other details that differ for the new occurrence, then publish.

What carries over

  • Event title and description
  • Cover image
  • Event type
  • Ticket tiers, names, and prices
  • Location or online access setup

What does not carry over

Registrations, attendee lists, and analytics are specific to each event and do not duplicate. The new event starts with zero registrations.

Recurring events

For events that happen on a set schedule (weekly, monthly), duplicating and updating the date each time is the current approach on taron. It keeps each event's analytics clean and separate.
