Hosting Hybrid Events

How to host a hybrid taron event — manage both in-person attendees and an online audience simultaneously.

taron help Share

Hybrid events on taron run two experiences at once — a physical audience at your venue and an online audience watching the livestream inside the app.

Setting up a hybrid event

Choose Hybrid as your event type. You will set up two ticket types: one for in-person access (with venue details) and one for the online stream. Attendees choose which suits them at registration.

Running the event day

At the venue, use taronPass to check in your in-person attendees. Start your stream from the taron app or via RTMP when you are ready — online attendees join from their ticket page.

Engagement across both audiences

Use the live chat visible in the app to acknowledge online attendees. Read out chat questions from the online audience during Q&A sessions. This makes the online experience feel included, not secondary.

After the event

Both in-person and online attendance data are captured separately in your analytics. You can see which ticket tier performed better and adjust your approach for future hybrid events.
