Hosting Online Events

How to host an online event on taron — choose your stream type, manage access, and run the live experience.

taron help Share

Online events on taron stream directly inside the app. Registered attendees watch from their ticket page — no external link needed.

Creating an online event

Choose Online as your event type. Set the date, time, ticket pricing (free or paid), and a description that tells attendees what the experience will be. Publish when ready.

Stream options

  • Phone camera (free) — go live directly from the taron app. Best for casual, community-style events or when you want simplicity.
  • RTMP (paid tier) — connect professional streaming software like OBS for studio-quality output with multiple cameras, overlays, and scenes.

Managing attendee access

Only registered attendees can access the stream. For paid events, access is gated by ticket purchase. You can also set visibility to invite-only so only people with the event link can register.

Ending the stream

Tap End Stream in the app when you are done. The event closes for live access. If you recorded the stream, you can choose to make the replay available to registered attendees.
