Privacy Controls

How to manage your taron privacy settings — who sees your profile, who can message you, and how to control your visibility.

taron help Share

taron gives you granular control over your privacy. Here is what each setting does and how to adjust it.

Profile visibility

By default, your display name and profile photo are visible to other users. Your event attendance is not shown publicly. Go to Settings → Privacy → Profile Visibility to adjust who can see your full profile.

Who can message you

Go to Settings → Privacy → Messages. Options are: Everyone, People you follow, or No one. If set to Everyone, messages from non-followers go to a Requests folder — you choose whether to accept them.

Activity status

taron shows other users when you were last active. Go to Settings → Privacy and turn off Show Activity Status if you do not want this visible.

Follower and following lists

By default, your follower and following lists are visible to anyone viewing your profile. Go to Settings → Privacy → Followers to make these private.
