Improving Event Discovery

Improve how your taron event is discovered — better titles, categories, descriptions, and community signals.

taron help Share

taron discovery is driven by relevance — your event surfaces to users whose interests match your event category, and whose location or community connections make it relevant.

Choose the right category

Select the most accurate category for your event during creation. Category is the primary signal taron uses to match events with users who have selected that interest. A music event tagged as Business will not reach music fans.

Write a title that surfaces in search

Use the actual words someone would search for: "Lagos Fashion Show July 2026" not "The Summer Experience." People search for cities, genres, and formats — not brands they have not heard of yet.

Use your community

Events posted within a taron community surface to community members in their feed. If your event is relevant to an existing community, post about it there (with permission from the founder if it is not your community).

Engagement signals

Events with more saves, shares, and follows rank higher in discovery. Seeding early registrations from your warm audience before promoting broadly gives your event a discovery boost.
