As a host on taron, refunds are governed by the policy you set when creating your event. Being clear and consistent protects both you and your attendees.
Your refund policy
Set your refund policy during event creation — full refund up to a date, partial refund, or no refunds. This is shown publicly on the event page before attendees register. taron enforces the policy you set.
When an attendee requests a refund
Attendees submit refund requests through their ticket page. You will see the request in your event management dashboard. If the request falls within your policy, approve it and taron processes the return. If it falls outside your policy, you can decline with a note.
If you cancel the event
When you cancel a taron event, all paid tickets are refunded automatically by taron. You do not need to process these manually. Notify attendees before cancelling so they can make alternative plans.
Discretionary refunds outside policy
You can issue a manual refund to any attendee from your event management page even if the refund window has closed — for emergencies or goodwill. Go to the attendee's registration and tap Issue Refund.
