Setting Ticket Limits

Set ticket quantity limits on taron to manage capacity, create urgency, and prevent overselling.

taron help Share

Setting ticket limits protects your event from overselling and creates urgency that drives earlier registrations.

Setting a limit per ticket type

In the Tickets section of your event, each ticket type has a Quantity field. Enter the maximum number you are willing to sell for that tier. taron stops accepting registrations for that tier once the limit is reached.

Setting an overall event capacity

If your venue has a hard capacity limit, set the total across all ticket tiers so the combined maximum does not exceed it. For example, if capacity is 200, your General + VIP + Early Bird quantities combined should not exceed 200.

Changing limits after publishing

You can increase ticket quantities at any time after publishing — useful if demand is higher than expected. You cannot reduce quantities below the number already sold.

Sold out behaviour

When a ticket type sells out, taron shows it as Sold Out on the event page. If you have a waitlist enabled, attendees see a Join Waitlist button instead.
